We provide the following services:
Career and self-exploration
- Assist you in exploring careers;
- Plan activities to achieve career goals through individual and group counseling;
- Use various career programs such as FOCUS 2 and the Myers Biggs Type Indicator to help you with the self-assessment process, enabling you to learn about your skills, interests, values and personality traits;
- Inform you of various career opportunities and pathways that complement your skills and interests;
- Share current knowledge of labor market and industry trends
Skill development
- Connect you with experiential learning opportunities such as job shadowing and internships;
- Teach you the NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) 8 competencies
Job searches
- Assist you with job search strategies, interview preparation, writing resume and cover letters, developing LinkedIn profiles, discussing salary negotiations, and networking;
- Empower you to make informed career-related decisions;
- Ensure you are career ready upon graduation with deliverables such as a resume, LinkedIn profile, cover letter, and portfolio if appropriate;
- Assist you with job placement
