Your great future starts here — and now. SUNY Adirondack offers a high-quality education at one of the lowest tuition rates in the state. Our friendly College Access team is well equipped to help you on every step of your journey toward higher education.
We know you have a lot of choices and selecting a college is a big decision. The SUNY Adirondack College Access team is eager to answer any questions you have about the college. We encourage you to visit campus, chat with an advisor and attend on-campus events.
College Access and Student Success is open for drop-in assistance from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Staff members are also available for Zoom appointments.

The application process
- Complete a SUNY Adirondack Application online. This application is free and easy to fill out.
- As part of your application, you need to submit an official high school transcript. Transcripts can be emailed directly from your high school to admission@sunyacc.edu or faxed to 518-832-7602. College Access also accepts GED/TASC test scores. (If you are a transfer student, submit an official college transcript for any schools attended to the Registrar's Office.)
- Apply for Financial Aid.
- Once accepted, you will receive an acceptance packet with your next steps. (Hint: Sign up for a Placement Test ASAP, so you can attend an Accepted Student Day!) Accepted Student Day is a priority to set you up for success through orientation and registering for classes.
- If you would like to live on campus, apply for Housing.
- Submit your immunization records to the Registrar's Office.
