The SUNY Adirondack Foundation is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and follows the Donor Bill of Rights.

Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:

  1. To be informed of the organization's mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
  2. To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization's governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
  3. To have access to the organization's most recent financial statements.
  4. To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
  5. To receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition.
  6. To be assured that information about their donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
  7. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional in nature.
  8. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors.
  9. To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share.
  10. To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers.

The text of this statement in its entirety was developed by the American Association of Fund-Raising Counsel (AAFRC), Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and adopted in November 1993.

Turn a SUNY Adirondack TIMBERWOLF into your next customer, transfer student, or employee! Take advantage of our multi-sport turf field to help meet your strategic goals

In spring, 2023, SUNY Adirondack proudly unveiled its expansive multi-sport turf field, becoming a hub of activity for athletes, coaches, students, and families. Situated between the 410-bed student housing facility and the college gymnasium, this state-of-the-art facility embodies our campus pride and community spirit and is highly visible just off our main campus entrance.

As we gear up for the upcoming fall season, the SUNY Adirondack Foundation is excited to offer a unique marketing opportunity: advertise on our vibrant athletic fields, showcasing your brand to our students, soon-to-be two-year college graduates, and sports-enthused community members.

Why Partner with Us?
Enhanced visibility and reach: Your banner on SUNY Adirondack's prominent multi-sport turf field ensures exposure to a targeted audience of students, families, and community members, boosting your brand awareness. Our facilities are utilized by high school travel teams during the College’s off-season.

Community engagement and support: Supporting SUNY Adirondack through this advertising opportunity demonstrates your commitment to educational excellence and student success, enhancing your presence within the local community. And, if you are one of our valued educational partners or local employers, you get access to transfer students or qualified graduates: SUNY Adirondack graduates are well-prepared and motivated!

DETAILS
Banner Signage: We are providing advertising space and 4' x 10', vented 15 oz vinyl banner for $1,250. That cost includes the production of the banner, and subsequent years are $1,000 per year for the advertising space. The life expectancy for these banners is five years. Banners can be reused year over year as they will be cleaned and stored after the fall season and re-hung in the early spring to remain in place through the following fall. You supply your own vector-formatted design or ask about supplying your pre-produced banner. All designs are subject to approval by the SUNY Adirondack communications staff.

Turnaround: Our local partner, West Signs, will have your banner ready and delivered to our campus within a week, just in time for fall season practice.

Don't miss this opportunity to align with SUNY Adirondack and reach a highly engaged audience. We look forward to showcasing you on our dynamic turf field!
