Veteran and military students

Thank you for your service to our nation. SUNY Adirondack appreciates and honors your experiences, and welcomes you as part of our community.

Applying to college for veterans is similar to the process for those who haven't served.

We want to keep it as simple as possible and recommend the following steps:

  1. Submit a free SUNY Adirondack application.
  2. Submit an official high school transcript or GED/TASC to College Access via email.
  3. Submit your college and/or military transcripts.
    1. College transcripts should be forwarded to the Registrar's Office.
    2. Military transcripts can be requested from the Army, Navy and Marines and Air Force.
  4. Once accepted, complete the Next Step for Accepted Students form. The Center for Student Success will contact you to schedule placement testing and an advising appointment.
