Faculty and staff attend a training session

Teaching & Learning Collaborative

The Teaching & Learning Collaborative (TLC) at SUNY Adirondack provides dedicated instructional support for credit and noncredit teaching faculty by offering online teaching support, trainings, workshops, self-paced resources and a dedicated faculty resource space.

The TLC Resource Room is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Faculty are invited to use computers, collaboration space, copier/scanner/printer and basic classroom supplies in the TLC, located in Adirondack Hall, Room 144.

Faculty support and resources

The TLC developed a user guide to getting started in Brightspace. Once you're set up, please see the faculty guide to the program.

Faculty support drop-in hours (no appointment necessary) are offered each week via Zoom or in person. Drop-in hours are subject to change, so please check the TLC Events Calendar for  dates and times.

TLC Coordinator Doris Ostrander is available to consult with faculty on best practices in teaching and learning. These consultations are offered on a limited basis. Faculty needing technical support with Brightspace are encouraged to attend Doris’ faculty drop-in hours.

Additional faculty support resources and best practices are available in the TLC Faculty Development community on Brightspace (faculty login required).
