Wendell Vaisey

Biography

Wendell Vaisey had a 20 year career with the Warren County Sheriff's Office, corrections division including 11 years as a front-line supervisor before coming to the SUNY Adirondack Public Safety office in 2013. He was promoted to Assistant Director in September of 2022. Wendell served as a volunteer EMT and firefighter for 12 years with the Warrensburg Fire Department and  Emergency Squad. Wendell served 8 years in the U.S Army Reserves, holding posts as training officer, company commander, detachment commander, as well as battalion security officer. 

Education

Wendell holds a BBA in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University where he also received a commission as an officer in the U.S Army Reserves. He has supplemented his education with multiple credits through Frederick Community College of Maryland in emergency management and SUNY Adirondack in criminal justice.
