Biography
Michael is a professor of biology, botany, sustainable agriculture and cannabis science at SUNY Adirondack. With a passion for engaging students in hands-on learning, Miguelito fosters curiosity about the natural world while emphasizing the importance of sustainability and ecological stewardship. Their teaching approach blends scientific inquiry with an appreciation for the interconnectedness of life, encouraging students to explore agriculture in ways that contribute to a more sustainable future.

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture from Brigham Young University Idaho; Master's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education and International Agriculture and Development from Penn State University; Doctorate (ABD) in Agricultural and Extension Education from Penn State University
