Biography

Holly Irion is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked in the field of mental health in community and educational settings since 2010. In 2022, she was honored as a recipient of The Post-Star's 20 under 40 award for her work with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Additionally, Holly recently completed the SUNY Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Teaching and Learning Certificate Program with distinction. Holly is the vice chair for Warren County Community Services Board, and has served since 2014.

Education

Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Albany, 2010; Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Gender and Sexuality Studies from St. Lawrence University, 2009

Hobbies and interests

Holly has a mild obsession with old Victorian-era houses, architectural salvage and local history. She and her husband are slowly renovating an old farmhouse in Queensbury.
