Biography

Francene Cicia is an associate professor in the Mathematics department. Before teaching at SUNY Adirondack, she was a teaching instructor at West Virginia University. She teaches all levels of math, from Introductory Algebra through the Calculus sequence. 

Education

Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Elmira College, 2013; Master of Science in Statistics from West Virginia University, 2015

Hobbies and interests

Francene lives in Glens Falls and takes full advantage of the region's unique amenities. She loves being outdoors and active, whether it be cycling, golfing, cross-country skiing, yoga or hiking. She and her husband recently reached a hiking milestone by summitting each of the Adirondack's 46 High Peaks.
