Catherine Basila

Biography
Catherine Basila has dedicated her professional career to SUNY Adirondack and has been a faculty member in the Social Science Division for more than 29 years. She teaches psychology with expertise in human development, research and statistics, and her research focuses on online student learning in the college classroom. Additionally, Catherine was one of the first faculty members to develop and offer online courses at SUNY Adirondack in the mid-1990s, and she assisted in developing the Psychology Concentration for the Humanities and Social Sciences Associate of Arts degree.

Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego, 1993; master's degree in Educational Psychology and Psychology from University at Albany 1994; and doctorate in Education Psychology and Methodology, 2016
