Biography
Beth is a N.Y. State Licensed Mental Health counselor. She has worked in multiple clinical settings, including a residential wilderness program for adolescent boys and girls, a domestic violence agency, and a community clinic providing DBT, individual therapy, and clinical services to dually diagnosed clients. Beth has been an educator for more than 20 years, teaching college courses to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as working as a school counselor in a rural high school in Virginia. She has a small private practice where she specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, recovery from trauma and life transitions.

B.A. in Psychology from the University of Richmond, 1993; M.Ed. in School Counseling,1998; Ed.S. in Clinical Counseling, 2000 from James Madison University
Hobbies and interests
In her free time, Beth enjoys taking walks in the woods with her dog, Hudson, spending time with friends and family, practicing meditation, traveling, reading and listening to podcasts. Beth recently learned how to row and has set her sights on competing in the Head of the Fish next year! Beth was elected to Saratoga Springs City School District Board of Education in May of 2023, and volunteers with Saratoga Children's Committee and Saratoga Literacy League.
