Biography

Bert Rawert has taught high school- and college-level mathematics and statistics at public and private high schools, SUNY Adirondack and Skidmore College for more than 20 years. Academically, he has interests in computer science, data analysis, mathematics and education. He has been instrumental in bringing to SUNY Adirondack new courses and initiatives to mathematics which support academically underprepared students.

Bachelor of Science from University of Kentucky, 2002; Master of Science from University of Massachusetts Amherst, 2004

Hobbies and interests

Bert enjoys attending sports, scouting and orchestra events for his five children with his wife. They live in Wilton. Bert serves as elder at his church, Negotiations chair for the Faculty Association and treasurer for Pack 4024 Cub Scouts at Dorothy Nolan. He enjoys hiking new trails in the Adirondacks. Bert is also a Realtor and loves helping people buy and sell real estate.
