Histotechnician 1+1 program

SUNY Adirondack offers the first year of a Histotechnician degree. Students learn through real-world experience in a careful combination of science curricula and clinical rotation. First-year students of the program will take courses in biology, chemistry, medical terminology and general education.

Students study patient diagnosis and treatment within science laboratories. This path is ideal for those who love working in laboratories and engaging in support of patient diagnosis and treatment.

Moving on to SUNY Cobleskill

SUNY Adirondack comprises Year One of a Histotechnician degree. You then have automatic acceptance and full-credit transfer to SUNY Cobleskill's campus. SUNY Cobleskill is the only accredited (National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences) degree-granting Histotechnician program in New York state.
