QUEENSBURY,  New York (April 1, 2025) — SUNY Adirondack proudly presents “Almost, Maine” from April 11 to 13 in the college’s on-campus theater.

“Almost Maine,” written by John Cariani, is nine vignettes exploring love and loss in small, remote almost-town.

“This is such a wonderful show,” said Jarel Davidow, artistic director of Lake George Dinner Theatre and adjunct professor at SUNY Adirondack, who is directing the play. “It is sweet, hilarious, charming and touching all at the same time.”

The show runs at 7:30 p.m. April 11 and 12, and at 2:30 p.m. April 13 in the Humanities wing of Adirondack Hall.

The cast includes students in THR 102 Rehearsal & Performance, a course offered at the college: Ella Ciancio, Makyah Darrisaw, Jeremy Dohrety, Lillian Garcia, Xander Jenkins, Lindsey Kurz, Daelen Serravento-Nelson and Mary Pilot. The stage managers are Julianna Constantino and Timothy Livingston, and script supervisors and front-of-house managers are Connor Meditz and Brian Naylor.

“The students working on this production are just pouring their hearts and souls into it, working diligently to get every nuance of the show across to the audience,” Davidow said. “I am so excited for our community to see the incredible work that all these young theater artists are doing.”

Tickets are $10, cash only for the general public, and available only at the door (no advance reservations). Admission is free to SUNY Adirondack faculty, staff and students, with ID.
