SUNY Adirondack offers Open House event
Tour campus, meet professors and students, learn about programs

QUEENSBURY, New York (March 23, 2026) — SUNY Adirondack will host an Open House event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 18, in Northwest Bay Conference Center in Adirondack Hall.
The college will offer workshops to learn more about SUNY Reconnect, a program that provides free education for qualifying adults, financial aid and living on campus, as well as opportunities to meet faculty and students, campus tours and more.
“This event is a great opportunity to learn about how SUNY Adirondack provides a great education for a fraction of the price of other institutions,” said Jenny Postlethwaite, director of College Access and Student Success.
Prospective students of all ages and their families are encouraged to attend.
Among SUNY Adirondack’s offerings to learn more about:
- More than 40 degree and certificate programs;
- Classes in three locations and online;
- Opportunity programs including Reconnect, Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and TRIO SSS;
- More than 35 clubs;
- Nine athletics programs;
- Residence Hall suites;
- Dual acceptance and transfer agreements with dozens of universities;
- On-campus health care and counseling, day care, dining services, library, bookstore, labs and studios
Facts about SUNY Adirondack:
- More than 35 percent of students are ages 25 and older;
- 64 percent of students graduate without debt;
- More than $400,000 in scholarships granted each year
Registration for this free event is requested, but walk-ins are also welcome.
