QUEENSBURY, New York (March 10, 2025) — SUNY Adirondack offers an Open House event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 29, on its Queensbury campus.
The Open House starts in Northwest Bay Conference Center in Adirondack Hall, with light refreshments and information stations offering opportunities to learn about campus programs. The event includes tours, information sessions about financial aid and other campus services, and opportunities to meet professors and have all college-related questions answered.
“This is a great opportunity to see what SUNY Adirondack has to offer,” said Jenny Postlethwaite, director of College Access and Student Success. “We have incredible facilities, services and, perhaps most importantly, faculty and staff, to make sure you have what you need to be successful in the classroom and after graduation.”
This free event is open to the public and encouraged for anyone considering taking college classes or wanting to learn more about the college and its programs.
Campus tours include the college’s state-of-the-art health care and science laboratories; photography, television and radio studios; and computer and mechatronics labs; the Residence Hall and Fitness Center; the gymnasium and turf field; as well as other classroom spaces and student services offices.
Pies on Wheels food truck will serve guests from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. near the college's Turf Field, on the south end of campus. The baseball team will play a double-header against Fulton-Montgomery Community college at noon and 2 p.m. on the field.
