QUEENSBURY, New York (Oct. 6, 2025) — SUNY Adirondack is proud to offer its annual Fall Open House from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 18, at its Bay Road campus.
The event kicks off with a resource fair in Northwest Bay Conference Center, Adirondack Hall, featuring some of the many programs and services available on campus, then continues with campus tours, opportunities to meet faculty, info sessions with Financial Aid, Residence Life, College Access and more.
“Open House is one of our favorite days of the year,” said Jenny Postlethwaite, SUNY Adirondack’s director of College Access & Student Success. “It gives prospective students and their families the chance to explore our beautiful campus, meet faculty and staff, and discover the many opportunities available here.”
Guests will have a chance to ask questions, meet with representatives from support services on campus, and learn more about the more than 40 degree, microcredential and certificate programs SUNY Adirondack offers.
“Whether you’re interested in starting your college journey, transferring or exploring career programs, Open House is the perfect way to see how SUNY Adirondack can help you achieve your goals,” Postlethwaite said.
Included in Open House is information about SUNY Reconnect, a state-funded initiative that supports students ages 25 to 55 without a college degree as they pursue education in high-demand fields, which at SUNY Adirondack include Computer Science; Criminal Justice: Substance Abuse Services; Cybersecurity and Networking; Engineering Science; Environmental Science; Liberal Arts and Sciences: Health Sciences; Mechatronics; and Nursing.
Open House includes food trucks; men’s soccer facing off against Finger Lakes Community College at 1 p.m. on the turf; and the volleyball team with back-to-back games at noon and 4 p.m. in the Gymnasium against Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Broome Community College, respectively.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested at https://connect.sunyacc.edu/register/?id=48657ebf-1298-4295-acf9-e64086068d62
