Laura Lincoln to lead college's advancement and alumni efforts

QUEENSBURY, New York (Feb. 17, 2026) — SUNY Adirondack is proud to welcome Laura Lincoln as the college’s new chief advancement officer and executive director of SUNY Adirondack Foundation.
Lincoln has more than 25 years of experience in alumni engagement, university advancement and student affairs.
“Laura brings a deep understanding of relationship-building, strategic fundraising and the critical role advancement plays in expanding access and opportunity for our students,” said SUNY Adirondack President Anastasia L. Urtz, J.D. “Her leadership will be instrumental in strengthening the Foundation’s impact and advancing our mission at a pivotal time for the college.”
Lincoln worked most recently at SUNY Oneonta, where she directed alumni engagement and alumni association operations, led communications and publications, supported fundraising strategy, and managed board relations and volunteer leadership. At Syracuse University, she oversaw orientation and transition programs, new student move-in, first- and second-year experience initiatives, off-campus student services and community partnerships, student conduct and crisis response, and residential life operations.
Lincoln earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master's degree in higher education from Syracuse University.
