QUEENSBURY, New York (Jan. 8, 2025) — SUNY Adirondack in partnership with EDC Warren County is proud to offer “Small Business, New Ideas,” a networking event for entrepreneurs featuring Just Water co-founder Drew Fitzgerald, from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 15 in Northwest Bay Conference Center.
“Small Business, New Ideas” will encourage sparking ideas and fostering connections among local entrepreneurs. The event also celebrates graduation of students from SUNY Adirondack’s Fall 2024 StartUp ADK.
StartUp ADK is a noncredit program for those starting or expanding small businesses. The course is sponsored by Warren County Local Development Corporation, Washington County Local Development Corporation and SUNY Adirondack Continuing Education. During the program, leading area professionals present on insurance, budgeting, human resources, market research, finance, business planning, legal issues, marketing and other subjects critical to small business.
"Small Business, New Ideas" builds on EDC Warren County's commitment to supporting new and emerging voices in the community.
Featuring Fitzgerald, co-founder of Just Water, 501cTHREE.org and The Water Genome, the event promises to inspire with his innovative approach to addressing global challenges.
This event will also recognize the impact of Startup ADK, showcase local business resources and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of Warren and Washington counties, and the greater Adirondack region.
“Small Business, New Ideas” is free and open to seasoned entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners and anyone eager to contribute to a thriving local economy. Preregistration is requested at bit.ly/StartUpADKEventJanuary2025.
