He loves to write, draw, paint, meditate and take photos. At SUNY Adirondack, the Media Arts program has given him the opportunity to explore his interest in the arts. “It has been a lot of fun learning a lot of art forms,” he said. “I want to have a better use of these practices and to practice them well.” After earning an associate degree, Parker plans to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees, with the hope to teach psychology at the college level. “I want to teach the evolution of humans’ creativity,” he said with excitement. “There’s just such a large scale of things you can do, and I want to try to get knowledge of a little bit of everything.”
