QUEENSBURY, New York (April 21, 2025) — Greetings and salutations! SUNY Adirondack’s Theater Club invites you to a sweet fantasy world without Heather, or at least to a performance of “Heathers: The Musical,” at 7 p.m. April 25 and 26 at the college’s on-campus Theater.

The student club presents “Heathers: The Musical,” an adaptation of the ’80s cult classic movie “Heathers.” Veronica Sawyer is just a high school girl trying to survive by becoming a part of the most powerful clique at school. She falls in love with edgy outsider JD, who manipulates her into taking revenge against all who get in their way.

“Our talented students have brought this musical to life and every detail — the sets, the costumes — has been crafted and perfected by their own hands in daily rehearsals,” said Harley Bradley, secretary to the dean for Student Affairs and Theater Club advisor. “This show is bold, funny and a little dark, and it's a student-powered production you won't want to miss!"

Admission is $10 at the door, and free for SUNY Adirondack students with ID. Doors open at 6 p.m. The Theater is in the Humanities building, on the west side of Adirondack Hall.

Please note: This musical is a dark comedy that covers serious topics and is rated for teens.
