Student Senate

Representing the 518

The Student Senate is the primary representative institution of the student body and exercises its authority in the students’ name and for the students' welfare.

Meet your Senators

Ariel Cruz, Treasurer
I am on Student Senate because I love being able to help make changes to student's lives for the better and to make their lives easier as they go through college. I also love being in a group of people who are different while at the same time similar to me. For me Student Senate is a place where ideas can be brought up and are heard no matter what they are.

Hayden Prenatt, Freshman Senator
I'm on Senate to help grow as a leader, learn a lot about the school and give a helping hand to the community.

Madison Herendeen, College Activities Board Representative
I am on Senate primarily to report our upcoming activities in the college activities board, but also because I like to be involved with decisions around the school. Student Senate teaches me how to be a better leader and how to not only speak my ideas, but also how to make them happen.

Richard Caldicott, Secretary
I am currently on the Student Senate of Suny Adirondack in order to serve the community to the best of my ability while attending Suny Adirondack.

Audrey Simard, Senator
I'm on Senate because I want to help make a difference in my school and get involved.

Monica Saylors. Student Trustee
I am the voice of the students on the Board of Trustees. I am on Senate because I enjoy assisting in being part of making decisions that will improve student life on campus. I love being an advocate for student needs and fighting for resolutions to satisfy the needs of the students and the needs of the college. It is an honor to serve on the board with so many intelligent and creative minds.

Tiffany Stoddard, Sophomore Senator
I joined Student Senate because I want to make change on the campus.

Emily Wilson, Plattsburgh Representative/ Liaison
When I attended SUNY Adirondack I never took part in any events held at the campus or took part in any groups other than playing a sport. I feel like it's a second chance for me, and I've really enjoyed my time on Senate getting to meet new people.

Gabriella Ortiz, Senator
I am on Senate because I am passionate about making this campus a fun and welcoming place for everyone. I love the community here at SUNY Adirondack, and I'm so lucky to be a part of it.

John Morgan, Sophomore Senator
I am on Senate to make the college a better place for future generations of students For a small school, we offer a lot of programs that some of the bigger schools do not run, or run on a lesser scale.

Ryan Underwood, Sophomore Senator
This is my second year being on the senate. I love the opportunities that we have to offer here at SUNY Adirondack. This college has given me and so many other students the tools we need to build our futures.

Dante Gallucci, Vice President
In addition to playing basketball for the Timberwolves, I decided to join senate because I was involved in my school senate as Treasurer of my class for three years and Treasurer of the school for my senior year. I love being involved and being able to make big decisions that I know will affect my school in a positive way.
