SUNY Adirondack Fund

Investing in our Community's Future

A partnership is a powerful thing. Since 1961, SUNY Adirondack has made higher education accessible, and we have worked to develop generations of leaders. Part of our mission is to serve as a stimulus for economic development, partnerships, and leadership in our community. As the institution continues to evolve, we invite YOU to partner with us in our mission to build an even stronger, thriving community!

As a stakeholder, you know that a SUNY Adirondack degree unlocks a world of possibility.

SUNY ADIRONDACK FUND PRIORITIES

Together, we can provide the resources needed to meet the most critical needs.

  • Gifts to the SUNY Adirondack Foundation are paramount in our effort to increase the level of unrestricted scholarships available for deserving students with unmet financial need.

  • The collective generosity of donors like you provides funds for the Finish-In-2 incentive program that helps committed students earn their associate degree in two years.

  • The power of a SUNY Adirondack degree is evident in the strength of our region, as our graduates continue to emerge as leaders. Your support allows us to improve the recruitment and retention of our student-athletes.

  • Philanthropy helps to elevate the trajectory of our students' career paths. The newest technologies are being implemented into our campus infrastructure to keep our students connected and engaged.

We welcome the chance to partner with you to create a giving experience where your philanthropic goals are met, while maximizing the opportunity to help to make our region strong for generations to come.

Like many of our students, Taylor is juggling more than just her coursework. She chose to stay close to home so she could help take care of her grandmother. As a member of the softball team, she has established lifelong friendships and has benefitted from the lessons learned on and off the field. She looks to assistant coach, Hank Pelton as a mentor, who she indicates has pushed her to be both a better player, and person. Additionally, he has served as a trusted advisor as she navigates the stresses of being a caretaker for a family member, coupled with the challenges of being a student-athlete. That's the power of the SUNY Adirondack experience.

"Donors to the SUNY Adirondack Fund are relieving some of the financial burden from my family in order for me to go to college. Without your help, attending college would not only be more difficult, but more stressful altogether."
