Introducing the Partners in Dining Program

The much anticipated opening of Seasoned, A SUNY Adirondack Culinary Experience, will occur in September 2018. The expansion and relocation of our culinary program moves it from a location near the Queensbury campus to a prime destination at 14 Hudson Avenue in downtown Glens Falls. 

Building on our highly successful program, the new facility will double the capacity of the current center, thereby increasing the College’s ability to support the culinary workforce in our local restaurants.  Our new, 8,100 square foot facility includes a 1,300 square foot teaching kitchen, along with a bake shop, gluten-free lab, classrooms and a 100-seat student-run restaurant. The restaurant will be used for lab courses and community events, and a liquor license will now facilitate wine and beer dinners. This is truly a project that benefits our entire region.

Chef Matt Bolton is leading this effort and looks forward to the program becoming an integral part of the downtown community. “The new facility will give us access to the farmers market and the opportunity to interact with local restaurants and community members.”

How can I join?

As a Partner in Dining, you purchase passports which contain certificates for a lunch or dinner at Seasoned. A package includes sixteen meals each of which includes a non-alcoholic beverage. The certificates can be used by employers for business lunches, client dinners or employee rewards. The general public can use them for entertaining family and friends. Certificates can be used all at once, or two to four at a time – however you wish to use them.

In addition to the meal value, as a Partner in Dining, you are contributing to the success of the culinary program through a donation to the SUNY Adirondack Foundation which is helping to fund some of the cost of relocation. 

Each package is $500, with a retail value of the sixteen meals of $400 and a $100 donation.

Certificates never expire. Reservations are required. Seasoned hours of operation will be posted on the SUNY Adirondack website each semester.
