"I was planning to go to college in Maine, but I decided it was too big and just wasn't the right fit for me. One of my best friends was going to U Albany and I had heard about SUNY Adirondack. I liked the fact that the residence hall was brand new, the area was a nice change of scenery, and overall I just felt like this was the right choice.
I want to be a special ed teacher. My brother is autistic, so that drives me.
Living in the dorm is very different. You may have a roommate that stays up late or wakes up early. You meet a variety of people and you have to be able to find a way to make it work. I'm going to transfer to either SUNY Plattsburgh or Potsdam, I haven't decided yet."
