Our Events Services office is your dedicated point of contact to arrange meetings and events at SUNY Adirondack, at both our Queensbury campus and the SUNY Adirondack Saratoga center in Wilton, near Saratoga Springs. We also hold Collaborative Cuisine, unique dining events open to the community, at our new student-run restaurant Seasoned within the college's Culinary Arts Center in downtown Glens Falls.

The Queensbury campus is home to the modern Northwest Bay Conference Center, a 3,750-square-foot, state-of-the art facility in Adirondack Hall. This attractive space can accommodate a variety of functions. Mission

Events Services at SUNY Adirondack aims to attract businesses and organizations to use our modern and flexible facilities for a variety of events. Our purpose is to generate additional revenue to support the college's mission, "SUNY Adirondack is a teaching-and learning-centered community college, which fosters a diverse, equitable, inclusive environment and campus community; offers innovative instructional and student support programs; responds to the educational needs of its community; and serves as a stimulus for economic development, partnerships and leadership."

Vision

Events Services at SUNY Adirondack is the preferred meeting and events service in the region, anchored by its Northwest Bay Conference Center.

SUNY Adirondack is located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, in Queensbury, New York, with stunning views of bucolic Washington County. 

SUNY Adirondack Saratoga is located just minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs, New York.

Who can rent space from SUNY Adirondack?

  • Please note that we can only contract with a business or organization, not an individual.

Updated COVID Policy:

Testing: 

Guests should stay home if not feeling well. 

Those positive for COVID should remain isolated at home for days 0-5 (day 0 is the date of the positive test or the date of onset of symptoms whichever is earlier).  Provided they are fever free without fever reducing medication, they can return to campus/class for days 6-10, but should wear a well-fitting mask during this time period.

Face Coverings: 

We continue to support any person on campus who chooses to wear a face covering. Until further notice, the college will follow CDC guidelines regarding required face coverings for anyone who has returned to campus in days 6-10 after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus. A well-fitting mask must be worn at all times on days 6-10 except if the individual has two sequential negative antigen tests 48 hours apart. In that case, they may remove their mask prior to day 10.

Can I host an event that includes minors at SUNY Adirondack?

  • We may require additional paperwork and procedures for events that include minors younger than the age of 17 to remain compliant with SUNY’s Child Protection Policy.

Can I use my own caterer or bring my own food for my event at SUNY Adirondack?

  • You must use our caterer or request a waiver. We cannot guarantee that waivers will be approved.

Do I need to make a deposit to hold my event?

  • We do not take a deposit. You will be invoiced immediately following your event. A fully executed contract is required to guarantee space.

What kind of insurance is required to host my event at SUNY Adirondack?

  • Certificate of Insurance requirements for all groups; Proof of general liability insurance, in amounts not less than $1,000,000 for a single occurrence involving bodily injury and property damage, $2,000,000 in the aggregate. Certificates of Insurance are required to list Adirondack Community College, Warren County and Washington County as additional insureds.

Can I serve alcohol at my event at SUNY Adirondack?

  • You must use our on-campus caterer, they offer a variety of beer and wine options, or receive a waiver to work with an alternative caterer who must secure the required liquor license to serve alcohol on campus the day of the event.

Can I decorate SUNY Adirondack spaces for my event?

  • We are happy to work with you to achieve the look and feel you desire for your event. However, there are some limitations for use of decor.
