What are TimberBucks?

TimberBucks is a declining balance account attached with your SUNY Adirondack Wolf CardTimberBucks offers students and their families with a safe, hassle-free option to make purchases on campus.  Parents are assured that students are spending money on campus for necessary goods and services.  And there's no need to worry about carrying cash on campus -- all you need is your Wolf Card!  Plus, students and parents can view balances, add more funds, and view transaction history anytime by visiting the SUNY Adirondack GET website.

How do I purchase TimberBucks?

TimberBucks can be purchased by visiting the SUNY Adirondack GET website.

Students will need to register for an account first by clicking "Sign Up Now."  Students will need their Student ID number (Banner #) to complete the registration process.  Once a student has registered, (s)he can add funds to their own account.  Or, on the right side of their welcome page, students can email a parent, grandparent, or other family member requesting more funds!

If you have any questions about the sign up process or how to add more funds, please contact the FSA Business Office at (518) 793-5250 ext. 206.

When do my TimberBucks expire?

TimberBucks do not expire -- ever.  Once the funds have been added to a student's account, the student may spend those TimberBucks until the balance has been depleted.

Can I get a refund of my TimberBucks?

TimberBucks are refundable for a two-week window at the conclusion of the spring semester only.  For more questions about refunds, please contact the FSA Business Office at (518) 793-5250 ext. 206.  There will be a Refund Request Form available on this website in the near future.

What is the difference between TimberBucks and Points?

Points are a declining balance account that are included with all of the meal plans.  Points are only accepted by Chartwells Dining Services in dining venues on campus.  If you'd like to purchase meal plans or more Points, you may do so using the Chartwells website at: http://www.dineoncampus.com/sunyacc.

TimberBucks are not included with any meal plan.  TimberBucks is an optional campus-wide declining balance account attached with your SUNY Adirondack Wolf Card.  An advantage of purchasing TimberBucks is that it is accepted at almost all locations on campus where students can make purchases, including all dining venues on campus.

Who do I contact if I have questions about TimberBucks?
