ROBERT HUTCHINSON CHILD CARE CENTER
What is The Robert Hutchinson Child Care Center?
The Robert Hutchinson Child Care Center is a special place on our campus where groups of children are often seen swinging, sliding, singing and playing. The Center offers parents an opportunity to come back to school with peace of mind, knowing their children are safe and well-cared for while they are in classes or studying.
What kind of programs does the Center provide for my child?
The Center is a partnership of the Faculty Student Association (FSA) of SUNY Adirondack and Warren County Head Start. We are committed to giving your child the best quality care possible. We believe that each child is unique and deserves to be accepted as such. We aim to provide a warm, relaxed, extended-family atmosphere, a home away from home. A balance of active and quiet activities will be provided. Please see the Warren County Head Start page for additional information by clicking here.
Is the Center accredited?
In May 1995, the Center was accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. This means that the Center has undergone comprehensive self-study and external professional review, and has been found to be in compliance with the Academy's strict criteria.
What age does the Child Care Center Serve?
The Center is licensed to provide day care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
When is the Child Care Center open?
Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday during the Fall and Spring semesters and on those days the College is in session.
Where is the Child Care Center located?
Our Center is located at the south end of the SUNY Adirondack campus in Queensbury, behind the gymnasium.
