Advisement Services  

New Students

New students starting at SUNY Adirondack in the Fall 2016 will register for classes at an Accepted Student Day.  You'll receive instructions to sign up for your Accepted Student Day in your Acceptance Packet from the Office of Admissions.  We look forward to seeing you!

Current & Returning Students

Advisement for the Fall 2016 semester will start on 3/21/16 and run through 4/13/2016.

Not sure who your advisor is?

To look up your advisor, log in to Banner then click on the 'Student' tab, then 'Student Records', then 'View Student Information', then select 'Spring 2016' as the term. Your advisor's name will appear on the top of your degree audit in DegreeWorks as well.  You can view your advisor's information now in your Banner account by going to

Nursing Program Information

If you are interested in learning more about the SUNY Adirondack nursing program, please plan to attend an information session.  Sessions last approximately 45 - 60 minutes.

 Career Coach – Career Coach is designed to help students find a good career by providing the most current local data on wages, employment, job postings and associated education and training. DegreeWorks - DegreeWorks is a degree management and advisement tool accessible through Banner Self-Service. DegreeWorks helps students understand and track their degree requirements and progress towards graduation and completion.  Students can use this tool to better understand class selection and overall educational planning.

Our mission is to provide academic advising, career counseling and job search services which meet the academic and employment needs of each student.

Located in Warren Hall, the Center serves as a "hub" for academic advisement and degree management services. During the semester, trained academic advisors staff the Center, helping students identify coursework and check the status of their academic and career plans. The Advisement and Career Services Center also provides standardized placement testing in Math and English for all matriculated students.
