The Media Arts AAS degree replaces SUNY Adirondack's previous Communications and Media Arts (CMMA) degree.  Students enrolled prior to Fall 2012 in the Communications and Media Arts AAS (CMMA) degree should reference academic requirements in the 2010-2012 Academic Catalog.

This degree program prepares students to work in the media arts industry or transfer to a four-year college. Students can focus on specific areas such as Graphic Design, Photography, Multimedia Design and Video Production. Media Arts Certificate Holders may also choose to enroll in the program. Recommended high school preparation: basic art courses and computer literacy.
