Ireland - March 2014

INT 204 – The Irish Adventure will be offered during the Spring 2014 semester, with travel dates of Saturday, March 8 – Sunday, March 16, 2014.  The course outcomes include, but are not limited to:

  • The history of Ireland and its political and social emancipation from England. 
  • The cultural and political variances
  • The role Ireland played in saving Christianity during the middle ages.
  • The cause and effects of the Potato Famine
  • Literacy contributions made by renown Irish Poets and authors
  • Economic input of Globalization on the Irish Economy – particularly in the technological service industry
  • Firsthand experience in viewing Ireland unique geographic wonders
