"I went to Glens Falls High School and was always involved in sports and clubs, so it has been great to continue being involved here in a very similar way. I was the Vice President of Student Senate my freshman year, I'm currently the President of the College Activity Board and I'm on the basketball team as well.

As President of the College Activity Board I play a role in planning activities for the students on and off campus. We try to get students involved and give them the opportunity to have great experiences while they are here. We recently had a hypnotist show; we plan trips to New York City and Boston; we have traveled to see Broadway shows and shows at Proctors; we really try to offer all different types of activities to give students lots of things to do.

There are so many great programs at SUNY Adirondack, and a lot of people don’t realize the opportunity that is here; plus you can save a lot of money.

I'm majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management and am planning to do the Disney Internship Program next year. I would love to transfer to Johnson and Whales University or Paul Smith’s College after I graduate. Paul Smith’s wants me to play basketballfor them, so I’m leaning towards going there. I like that I am getting the full college experience while being close to home.

I live in the residence hall and I've had a great experience. The residence halls were actually part of the reason I decided to attend school here. For students considering living on campus, I would say, don’t believe the rumors; experience it for yourself. Trouble doesn’t find you; you find trouble. Find yourself a good group of friends to surround yourself with and you will be fine; there are good people here."
