Liberal Arts Humanities & Social Sciences: Psychology Concentration

SUNY Adirondack offers a two-year Liberal Arts and Sciences: Humanities and Social Science AA degree with a Psychology Concentration.

This concentration provides specific coursework which prepares students for transfer to a four-year school as a psychology major, or as a major in a related area. This course of study also makes use of knowledge from interconnected areas of study, including sociology, anthropology and biology. The Humanities and Social Science — Psychology Concentration will help students develop insights into human behavior in all of its facets and enhance their experience of the world around them. Invaluable skills like communication, independent thinking and problem solving are at the core of this program and help students appreciate the diversity in societies and peoples around the world. Study in psychology gives context to the importance of data and data interpretation in understanding human behavior and experience.
