Liberal Arts Humanities & Social Sciences

SUNY Adirondack offers a two-year Associate in Art (AA) degree in Humanities and Social Science as part of the Liberal Arts and Sciences track.

The humanities and social science fields provide a diverse education spanning literature, philosophy, history, economics, fine arts, theatre and psychology. This program helps set a solid foundation for students to transfer to a four-year institution for their degree of choice.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Humanities and Social Science degree will help students learn to interpret and experience the world around them. Invaluable skills like communication, thinking for yourself and problem solving are the core of this program and help students to see the diversity in societies around the world. Elective classes including the arts, foreign languages, and theatre will enhance the learning experience and give Liberal Arts’ students a better understanding of what concentration and future degree best fits their personal career path.
