Record keeping

The Registrar’s Office is the official record keeper on campus.

The office conducts the following services:

• Certifies student enrollment
• Collects immunization records
• Confers degrees
• Veterans' certification
• Issues academic transcripts
• Maintains the official academic record of each student
• Processes course registrations, including drop/add forms and course withdrawals
• Processes grades
• Processes name and address changes
• Reviews and evaluates coursework taken at other institutions. (For complete information relative to our transfer policies, see the Admission with Advanced Standing in our catalog.) 

 

Ways we can help

A transcript request must be made by the student either by letter, transcript request form, fax or in person. Official transcripts (with a raised college seal) are $7. Same day transcript service is $15. Unofficial copies are available, without charge, online through Banner which is found under College Apps on the College's website. 

You will need your Banner Student ID number to use Banner. Call us at 518-743-2279 for assistance.

Free copies can also be obtained from the Registrar's Office.

Letters and faxed requests must include the following information:

  • Full name (and all names under which you attended SUNY Adirondack)
  • Social Security number or Banner Student ID
  • Date of birth
  • Address where the transcripts should be sent

You may also scan or take a picture of your signed request with your phone and send it directly to transcripts@sunyacc.edu. Our fax number is 518.832.7601.

Requests must be signed. Please include a daytime telephone number.

Transcript Payment

Checks and money orders should be made payable to SUNY Adirondack and mailed to the address below.

Charge card payments can be made through NELNET.  Click on the e-cashier icon to pay by charge or debit card. Please note that this will result in a delay of about one week.

Transcript Request Form

 

New York State requires that college students provide immunization records for mumps, measles, rubella and meningitis if you are taking six or more credits.

If you have not yet submitted your shot records to the Registrar's Office in Warren Hall, you are at risk of having your classes dropped.

Anyone who submitted paperwork in the past does not have to resubmit those documents.

Check your SUNY Adirondack email NOW to see if you are in compliance with this law.
