Tutoring

SUNY Adirondack provides free tutoring services in a wide variety of subjects.

The Learning Commons, on the first floor of the Library in the Scoville Learning Center on the Queensbury campus, is home to the following tutoring services:

Center for Reading & Writing (CRW): Tutoring for English courses as well as reading and writing assistance for students in any subject. One-on-one tutoring is by appointment. Tutoring may also be arranged for small groups. For hours, and more information, click HERE.

MECS Tutoring Center: Provides free walk-in tutoring for students taking most math, engineering and computer science courses at SUNY Adirondack. A detailed schedule of tutors is available at the center each semester and HERE.

• Business Resource Center: Provides tutoring for students taking accounting courses at SUNY Adirondack. Additional tutoring may be available by contacting arpeyj@sunyacc.edu. A detailed schedule of tutors is available at the center each semester and HERE.

The Learning Commons is open days and evenings Sunday through Thursday, Friday during the day and Sunday afternoon and evening. It is closed on Saturdays.

Online Tutoring
